Lymphedema

Lymphedema is the buildup of fluid in the soft tissues of the body when the lymphatic system is damaged or blocked. The lymphatic system is a network of lymph vessels, tissues, and organs that transport lymph throughout the body. Lymphedema occurs when lymph cannot flow through the body as it should.
