TENS

TENS is a method of pain relief that uses a weak electrical current. A TENS machine is a small, battery-powered device whose wires are attached to sticky pads called electrodes. TENS units work by sending small electrical impulses through electrodes fitted with sticky pads to stick to a person's skin. These electrical impulses flood the nervous system, reducing its ability to transmit pain signals to the spinal cord and brain.
