Rehabilitation Protocol 

Phase 1 (week 0-3)

Goals - Protect healing tissue, and prevent motion loss.

Precautions - Avoid antalgic gait patterns.

Rehab - Ice, Balance board.

Phase 2 (Week 3-12)

Goals - Regain pain-free hamstring strength, and develop neuromuscular control of the trunk with a progressive increase in movement.

Phase 3 (week 12=)

Goals -  Integrate postural control into sport-specific movements.

Rehab - Treadmill Moderate to high intensity.

Single limb balance
